The Vermont Public Health Association seeks an Executive Director who has the vision and advanced skills to support us as we work to grow and enhance the nature and scope of our services to Vermont public health professionals and the Vermont public. We have recently been engaged in expanded public health work due to CDC Health Equity funding and are now engaging in strategic planning to guide us in our organizational growth and expanded mission to promote health equity. We envision an Executive Director who, in working with the President and the Board, can guide us in these efforts by the efficient management of the workings of the VtPHA. The VtPHA is a membership organization which facilitates collaboration among people who care about public health and are committed to protecting and promoting the health of Vermonters. Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have at a minimum a bachelor’s degree with experience in organizational management and a familiarity with the concepts and profession of public health.
This position is planned to be mostly working remotely, with attendance requested at some in-person meetings. The person will report to the Board President of the VtPHA.

Salary range is $32.00 to $38.00 per hour depending upon experience and education.
This is a 24 hour per week position that will remain open until filled.
