The Center for Sustainable Ag invites you to take part in a panel discussion on Racial Justice in the Vermont Food System from 4-6pm on Tuesday, September 29.

The Center is supporting the Susu Healing Collective in leading and facilitating this online conversation between farm and food system colleagues of color who live and work in Vermont.

Many of Vermont’s food system organizations--from farmland access to food access--would like to address racial justice in the food system, but some are just getting into this space for the first time. There has not yet been a statewide discussion on how to move Vermont towards a racially just food system. Please join facilitators Naomi Doe Moody and Amber Skye Arnold of the Susu Healing Collective and a panel of People of Color who are part of Vermont’s farm and food system to hear about needed work to address racial inequities and injustice - and work towards a just and thriving system for all.

This virtual webinar is presented by the Susu Healing Collective with support from the UVM Extension Center for Sustainable Agriculture. Contact
susuheals@gmail.com or cheryl.herrick@uvm.edu for more information.  The webinar will have live captioning; if you require a disability-related accommodation in order to participate, please contact cheryl.herrick@uvm.edu so we may assist you.
