The Vermont Suicide Prevention Symposium is being offered as a resource and day of networking for all interested individuals and groups across Vermont and beyond.  This includes VT Suicide Coalition members, providers across health care networks, school staff, other social services providers, individuals with lived experience and anyone who has an interest in learning more to help prevent suicide in our state.

Goal:

To bring together an extraordinary array of stakeholder to facilitate collaboration that strengthens suicide prevention.

Objectives:

1. Examine tools and approaches for improving support to at-risk populations

2. Share best practices and opportunities for sustaining programs and connections created during the COVID Pandemic

3. Explore and engage with peer support services

4. Discuss resources and data on suicide risk in individuals with co-occurring disorders

5. Inform policy and practice using the voices of loss and attempt survivors
