Daily Themes

Monday:  Racism: A Public Health Crisis  — transform our systems and dismantle policies and practices that uphold racism and continue inequities

Tuesday:  Public Health Workforce: Essential to our Future— Champion peer support and mental health services in your workplace

Wednesday:  Community: Collaboration and ResilienceSupport community-led solutions to improve health

Thursday:  World Health Day: Health is a Human Right— Stay informed on why health issues are human rights issues

Friday:  Accessibility: Closing the Health Equity Gap — Improve the health of people living with disabilities and other marginalized groups by reducing health disparities

Saturday:  Climate Change: Taking Action for Equity —Strengthen partnerships with communities most impacted by climate change

Sunday:  Mental Wellness: Redefining the Meaning of Health— Mental health is a critical component of public health


Join us in observing NPHW 2022 and become part of a growing movement to create the healthiest nation in one generation. During the week, we will celebrate the power of prevention, advocate for healthy and fair policies, share strategies for increasing equity and champion the role of a strong public health system.
