Intern Spotlight: Nora Bartlett (UVM ’26)

Apr 13, 2026 | Mentorship

My name is Nora Bartlett, and I’m a senior at UVM receiving my bachelor’s in Public Health Sciences, with minors in Public Policy Analysis and International Politics.

I grew up in Minneapolis, MN, and have always been interested in how systemic barriers, environmental conditions, and community-level factors all influence the health of our population!

During my time at UVM, I spent a semester in Denmark, where I was able to study and compare healthcare systems across Europe, and work as a research assistant on a project investigating the incidence of breast cancer across Southeast Asia.

My studies have grown my passion for assessing health disparities and working to find evidence-based solutions.

I am excited to be working with VtPHA to support the advocacy and policy sides of public health in Vermont! After I graduate, I plan to continue my exploration of population health as I pursue an MPH in epidemiology!
