VtPHA Committees

Communications

Chair: Sally Kerschner, VtPHA Secretary

The Communications Committee will create, maintain and implement the VtPHA Communications Plan with ongoing input from the VtPHA Board and membership. The Communications Plan will outline communication processes and materials that support VtPHA activities and products (such as newsletters, webinars and other messaging). The goal of VtPHA’s communication strategies is to increase awareness and support of VtPHA actions among our members, partners, and other key audiences. As a result of effective communications, we will raise awareness about VtPHA and the key role of public health in influencing the social determinants of health. The Communications Committee will be chaired by the VtPHA Secretary. The Communications Committee meets on the fourth Thursday of each month from 1 - 2 pm.
