Rhetoric in ads and on the debate stage demonstrate ways public health has become increasingly politicized. During this scenario-based session, we will hear from messaging experts and public health leaders on the power of framing—how we position information—to build trust and communicate effectively about pressing health issues. Speakers will share practical insights on how they would respond to example scenarios inspired by real world challenges. With considerations on how to bridge divides and reach target audiences across the political spectrum, this webinar will explore how effective framing and positioning of public health issues can drive understanding, empathy, and action in support of public health.
